(Project) PCAP - a not-perfect network analyzer
I built a network analyzer in C and C++ to learn how network protocols work. It processes pcap files and live traffic, decoding protocols including Ethernet, IPv4, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
It runs from the command line, with packet parsing kept separate from the interface.
